Throughout each semester, students have the opportunity to display the gifts God has developed in them in various venues. All students are encouraged to play in the Ellendale Baptist Worship Orchestra who accompany the worship-leading choir many Sunday mornings. In addition, students can play at other times in and around Ellendale during special events or before church services in gathering areas. Last, but not least, students compete in various other venues in the region according to their instrument.
Congratulations are in order for the following students for their accomplishments in the respective areas:
- Katie Thorell and Abbey Webb who earned First Place at the TACS Regional and District Instrumental Solo & Ensemble Competition
- Alice Pham, Lori Lester, and Jeffrey Zheng for Superior ratings at the fall and spring Lane Piano Festival
- Mary Hale and Georgeanne Gourley --Winners of the Beethoven Competition in harp
