Hey, church family!
Well, here we are, headed into another week of social distancing! How are you holding up? Are you healthy? Are you good? Is there any way we can encourage you or minister to you? You know, as difficult as this is, I’m really beginning to see that the church was built for seasons like this! many of you have shared with me how you’re connecting with others, checking on one another and encouraging one another, and I am grateful!
I hope you were able to catch our live service on Facebook or YouTube yesterday. If not, I hope you’ll go check it out. It’s exciting to see evidence of even more people connecting than last week! Feel free to invite your friends and family to join us virtually. Send them a direct link to the service (https://www.youtube.com/
This week our office remains closed, but you can call us anytime at 901-386-4676. Our giving avenues remain open all week, day or night. Simply mail a check to Ellendale Baptist Church, PO Box 487, Ellendale, TN, 38029, give online at ebcbartlett.org or text the amount of your offering to (901) 460-3222. We’re so grateful that we can continue to do ministry during these unprecedented days.
The closer we get to Easter, there’s no question that we’re going to have to adjust our annual plans, especially with the president’s extension of his 15-day social distancing recommendations all the way to April 30. We’ll discuss those adjustments in our virtual staff meeting tomorrow, and we’ll update you on any decisions that we make.
I’m looking forward to Midweek Online again this Wednesday at 6:30. We had a great time of fellowship and discussion last week. Even if you couldn’t join us then, I hope you’ll join us for the first week in a new Right Now Media Study entitled A Healing Body, a very timely study that looks at biblical solutions for issues like anxiety, loneliness and depression. As always, I’m grateful to be with you on this journey!
