How are you holding up? Is there anything you need? We’re four days into the president’s requested fifteen day social-distancing instructions, and, if you’re wired like I am, you might already be getting stir crazy. I’m grateful for all of you who’ve let me know that you’re praying for me and our church staff. no question that we need it right now! As I mentioned in an earlier update, this Sunday’s service will be online only. Below are some instructions on how to connect with us, how to respond if you need to talk with someone during the service and how to give online.
To connect with our live stream on Sunday, go to EITHER Facebook (facebook.com) or YouTube (youtube.com) on your phone, tablet, laptop, home computer or smart TV and search for “Ellendale Baptist Church.” If you’d like to watch the service using your smart TV or Roku device, your best bet is to use the YouTube app on your device (and, again, search for “Ellendale Baptist Church”).
Next Steps Online
Bro. Lynn Butler will be overseeing our virtual Next Steps Area during and following our service on Sunday. If you sense God leading you to make Jesus Christ your Savior and Lord, join our church, or if you’d simply like to ask for prayer, send Ellendale Baptist Church a direct message on Facebook or call or text Bro. Lynn Butler directly at (901) 484-6919.
We will have a specific time in our service Sunday when we will encourage you to give, but, of course, you can give at any time. Please don’t forget to support EBC during these uncertain days. Now, more than ever, ministry is needed in our community. It’s easy to give, even when we can’t meet in person. Here are some options:
- Go to ebcbartlett.org and click “GIVE” in the upper right corner. It’s not necessary to sign in. Just click “Contribute as a guest.”
- Text the dollar amount that you’d like to give to (901) 460-3222. (the first time, we’ll need to get some other info from you, but after that it’s easy!)
- Mail a check to “Ellendale Baptist Church, PO Box 487, Ellendale, TN 38029.”
- Drop your offering off by the church office this week during office hours (M-F 8AM-9:30 PM).
Again, thanks for your continued generosity in these strange times.
